The Riga Grand Swiss FIDE trainers’ seminar

The International Chess Federation Trainers’ Commission is pleased to announce its seminar in Riga, from 29th to 31st October.
The lecturers at the seminar will be FIDE senior trainers, GM Ivan Sokolov and GM Artur Yusupov.
The seminar will cover key topics for trainers such as the trainer system and the role and challenges of trainers, analysing own games and classical games, different training methods, opening repertoire development, tournament preparation, and training in calculation and advanced tactics.
The seminar will be held at AC Hotel Marriott Riga (Business Centre, Dzirnavu iela 33, Centra rajons, R ī ga, LV – 1010). Online participation is also welcome via Zoom. A link will be provided 48 hours before the start of the seminar.
